Seller and scope

Pingang International Trade House LTD., Hong Kong, sells goods through lomonosov-porcelain.com. These terms apply to orders placed on this site. Contact [email protected] with questions about an order. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer law always take priority over these terms.

Products, prices and orders

We aim to describe each product accurately. Hand-finished pieces vary slightly; such variation is not a defect. The product price, currency, shipping charge and any tax collected by us are presented before payment. Customs duties or other charges assessed on import are described in our Shipping and Returns policy.

Placing an order is an offer to buy the listed goods; a contract is formed when we accept your payment. We check availability before fulfilment and may cancel an order, in whole or in part, if an item cannot be supplied or was listed with an obvious error in price or description. In that case we refund the amount paid for the cancelled items. We will not charge more than the amount you approved without your agreement. Payment methods are those actually offered at checkout.

Pre-orders and deposits

For pre-order items we collect the deposit shown at checkout when you order and request the remaining balance before shipment. If the balance is not paid by the date stated in our payment request, we may cancel the order and keep the deposit to the extent permitted by law. A deposit is not refundable once we have placed your pre-order with the manufacturer, except where the law requires otherwise or where we cancel the order for a reason on our side; in that case we refund what you have paid. Dispatch times given for pre-orders are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

Delivery and returns

Our Shipping and Returns policy explains dispatch, delivery, customs charges, returns and the process for damaged or incorrect goods. If we cannot meet a stated dispatch date, we will tell you and offer cancellation and a refund where required by law.

Using the site and resolving problems

Provide accurate contact and delivery details and keep any account password secure. Website content and product imagery may be protected by intellectual-property rights; buying a product does not transfer those rights. If there is a problem, email [email protected] with your order number. Nothing in these terms removes statutory remedies or the right to contact a regulator or court where the law provides one.

Liability and events outside our control

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including delays by the manufacturer, carriers or customs authorities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove protections that the mandatory consumer law of your country gives you.
