Description
A bone china cup and saucer on the May shape in the Golden Spring pattern, from the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St Petersburg.
The cup holds 165 ml (5.6 fl oz), a size for coffee or a small cup of tea, and the saucer is about 120 mm (4.8") across. The decoration is painted by hand and finished with 22-karat gold, so hand washing is recommended. The May shape is also used for the factory's ballet cup sets.
