Description
A large mug with its own saucer in the Red Cockerel pattern, made in hard porcelain on the Leningrad shape at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St Petersburg.
The mug holds 360 ml (12.2 fl oz) and is about 95 mm (3.7") wide and 95 mm tall; the saucer is about 160 mm (6.3") across. The decoration is painted by hand and trimmed with 22-karat gold, so hand washing is recommended. The Red Cockerel pattern is also made as a teapot on the Family shape.
