A coffee set from the Russian Writers collection is dedicated to Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. As the main decorative motif, Sergei Sokolov uses the silhouettes of Chekhov, the heroes of his stories, as well as the famous pince-nez of the writer, whom he greatly valued. On the saucer Sergei Sokolov placed a quote from Chekhov's notebooks: "Women without a male society fade, and men without a female society grow stupid."
