Story: "Tsar Fyodor Ioannovich" is a unique collection set based on the performance of the same name in 1898 as part of a joint project of the Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Factory and the Festival "Biennale of Theatrical Art. Directing lessons. This set is the first work in the history of the Lomonosov Factorydedicated to the art of drama theatre. Decor designed by Lyubov Tsvetkova. The artist is known for her series dedicated to famous ballet performances. The development of sketches has become almost an art history study. For this, the artist worked in the archives of the Moscow Art Theater Museum and the Russian State Art Library, studied photographs of the performance, illustrations, preserved costumes. The image on the coffee pair is historically reliable and true in everything, down to the details. The main characters of the play are depicted on the cup: Tsar Fyodor Ioannovich, son of Ivan the Terrible; Tsaritsa Irina Fedorovna, his wife, Godunov's sister; Boris Fedorovich Godunov, ruler of the kingdom; Prince Ivan Petrovich Shuisky, supreme voivode. The artist took the painting of the chambers of the Moscow Kremlin as the basis for the decor of the saucer, and placed the very first playbill on the dessert plate.
